I haven't been around in quite some time, and I was wondering what kind of mischief the town as a whole has gotten itself into now?

Of course I am speaking of major evilness, and the vilest of the vile. In other words, who are we killin' now? I of course as always would love to lend my skills to the proper snipe hunt, as it were, if one should present itself.

Other than that I really think that we need some music in this hear inn, where the hell is that Fergus fella? If he has been killed, please ignore my query, and all insulted parties should see my secretary. That would be Sylas. Thank you.

*Shax sits patiently drinking, waiting for some sort of conversation*

*picks up her drink and moves to sit next to Shax*

To tell the truth, I'm sure there are all sorts of bad nasties out there waiting to be killed, but since the mages seem to run this town lately, and I'm currently shunned by all but Dietrich, I've not been advised of the current nasties out there.

However, I can tell you that a very evil tome of necromancy was intercepted last month by Nyrthak, and destroyed by several of the mages. Lets see... the local big bad necromancer was also caught and killed... To be honest, I can not recall his name, no doubt because I was not invited on that adventure either. Sadly, we lost 4 cavaliers in the encounter.

Let's see... Nightsong was apparently threatened by an assasin of some sort, and has fled the area. It's really too bad. He was quite a nice fellow, and made excellent elvin wine. We'll all miss him, I'm sure.

Well, that about sums up my knowledge of the big baddies. I'm sure Kimberlyn could tell you more, if you cared to seek her out.

*Turns towards Kathryn and shines his beautiful, albeit drunken, smile upon her.*

The mages are in charge now?! Oh crap, does that mean that Galen has become a mage now too? Maybe it was the magical barbarian tribe that might be out there somewhere*super sarcastic*?

That is truly horrible to hear that a lovely lady such as yourself is being shunned in any way. I would hope that the mages would have a better understanding of beauty than that. But than again they are mages.

That is definitly too bad about the cavaliers. They are very hard to come by as I understand it, though I could have it completely wrong. And Nightsong as well, it is indeed a horrible thing when you have to worry about fellow townspeople plotting your demise. I have come to live with the fact that this is how I will inevitably meet my demise, its either them or the ferrets anyway.

Well at least we can share a drink and good company, before the unknown descends upon our heads, as usual.

As for so called "Big Baddies" I fear that they will have to be left to the "Big Goodies" or whatever. I am in no shape to....strike that, I have no desire to chase the "evil" about the countryside. Let it come to us as it usually does. I have more important things to attend to.

Let evil brood and it may prepare for our destruction.

Gromm could have been stopped before the war if someone had noticed him before he gathered the troops to full strength.

Controlled by another?

A better term for those who would act against the interests of Silverthorn and those organizations within it? Good business.

*Arthur walks into the inn and glances around to see who is there, after thinking for a second he sits down.*

"So what seems to be happening as of late for everyone?"

*As he waits for replies to be given he orders a drink and begins sipping intently.*

Hunting. War stories. Drinkin'. The usual.

*Arthur nods*

"Sounds about the same with myself."

*Kimberlyn wonders into the Inn and spots Arthur. She approaches him and gently taps him on the shoulder.*

Arthur...ummm...Captain, may I please have few words outside with you?

*She stands there and awaits his reply.*

*Stands up from his conversation with Arthur and leaves the Inn.*

*Arthur shrugs*

"I don't see why not, oh and please stop calling me Captain sir.... it sounds ridiculous."

*He stands and walks outside.*
