*From a Dark Corner*

*a hooded figure sits quietly in a dark corner of the Inn. When there are a considerable number of townsmembers present, the figure lifts its head and speaks with the faraway voice of Twilight*

From the world of nightmare, sealed from light, so that nights are safe,
A traveler will be lost, his way home found by another,
And as the days grow long with light, Darkness of Summer will join the fight.

Stanza 16 of The Prophecy. The Stanza that I had hoped beyond hope to thwart. I fear though, that even if this 'traveler' may be stopped from releasing her - she may yet find another way.

Winter is no longer ... Spring has given up her power ... we all know what loss came upon us with the death of Autumn ...

The Season of Summer is almost upon us.

... are we prepared to deal with Summer - should she find a way back to Phantara?

Nope. Not at all. Suggest finding a nice, cozy hiding spot, I do.

I am no great warrior, but I will stand against her with all those who may.

There are so many speculations about this stanza of the prophecy. Who is the "he" that the stanza refers to? Mayhem? He was sealed away. Or perhaps the Crypt of Fear necromancer, who still gallops about freely dispite the word of those who promised to act against him? Was there ever a visit to Lucas to find out what he knew about the Myranese?

Of course, my blade and I are ready to stand against this vampire whenever needed. Perhaps we can rid this world of two vampires in one month.

*thoughtfully*

Has anyone researched what type of weapon will be needed to kill Summer?

*the figure speaks from the corner, her voice not so faraway*

Sadly, Lucas was slain before I had a chance to speak with him. No matter, the Wood Elves are finally safe - I believe we awoke the sleeping Myranese.

As far as the "he" in this Stanza, that would be Gentleman Dierden. I have been seeking him as of late, but he proves rather elusive.

Last I knew of Dierden was that we found all the pieces he was looking for. And that was before the snow fell and I haven't seen or heard of him since.
