Darthesis posts a message on the Inn Door
Darthesis enters the Inn, holding the door open while nailing an announcement to it. While he does this he can be heard explaining to Bombour...
"I was recently on some business at Tarragon Keep and I was asked by some sort of representative of the King to escort him down to Midway to speak to the town council here on some new charters for the popular houses. When I gave him my price he spit what he was drinking onto my shirt, which caused my price to go even higher. He decided that he would write down the a message, and I'd bring it back with me for a much smaller fee. He informed me that he'd be here himself when he gets a more 'realistic' guardsman."
Darthesis then turns and leaves. The message as posted reads.
To the Town Council of Midway
I hereby request your presence at a meeting of great import for all four of the popular houses. The new charters signed by the King into action over Yule have just started filtering to these far outlying areas, and I am one of those messengers tasked to visit each and every town within a given Barony to ensure you all have a copy of these new documents. I stand ready to read them to you if required, and provide any clarification that your town council requires. Of course your Constable and your Guild representative are welcome. I do not however, wish to invite the entire town for an long drawn out discussion, you may gather any questions they have before my visit and distribute my wisdom to them when I am gone.
I plan to arrive at your town via the riverboat as soon as I can find a guardsman with some sense of economic propriety to escort me. My plan is to arrive around noonday on Saturday the 8th, of the Month of March, of the year of our King 1003 EWR. I truly hope to leave within an hour of arrival so please ensure all council members are prompt. If they are not present, they shall have to travel to speak to another expert on these new charters at their own expense.
