[Bombour Stoutbringer]

Bombour stands up and announces to the crowd:

"It's time for the Second Annual Midway Drinking and Rude Toasting Contest sponsered by Fidelis Pro Aurum.

The rules are simple folks:

Drink the most and win the prize. Open to all races and people. Death of the drinker disqualifies them. Each participant must make a rude toast, joke, song, or just expose yourself if you want. Bribing the judge is encouraged. Other rules by popular vote. Bombour and his staff are the final Judges in case of a tie. The contest will start Friday night and go through till close Saturday night @ 2:30 or possibly later. Town members have their enterance fee paid for by Fidelis Pro Aurum. Out of towners must pay their own way of 2.5 Verlan.

Prize is a large glass mug, to be filled twice with whatever vile drink you desire. And new this year will be a cash prize to help offset the medical cost involved in winning, aproximately 5 pemb per enterant will go toward the prize. So the more that enter, the bigger the prize.

Rules will be posted in the tavern, and interpreters will be available for those who cannot read, or who are too drunk to remember how.

And as we said last year, a big thanks to Fidelis Pro Aurum. And remember their motto: "If you have the Aurum, we have the Fidelis."
